Tot Gold Mining

About the Company

New company. Experienced hands.

Tot Gold Mining was established in Hurghada in December 2025 to explore for gold in the Eastern Desert — ground that has been worked for five thousand years and barely touched by modern systematic exploration.

The company is new; the people are not. Its geologists have spent their careers in this belt, including at Sukari and Hamash, Egypt's largest producing gold mines, and bring more than a hundred combined years of field experience to the search.

Gold exploration is the core. The company's registered scope runs the full length of the value chain — from exploration and extraction through processing, refining and the trade of bullion and precious stones — so that what is found can be developed rather than sold on. Each of those capabilities will be built in sequence, as the gold programme earns it.

The Team

Geologists who have worked Egypt’s largest gold mines

Tot Gold Mining is a team of around ten specialists, at its centre a group of geologists with more than a hundred combined years in the Eastern Desert. Several have worked at Sukari and Hamash — the mines that turned Egypt back into a gold producer — as exploration and mine geologists.

That experience is the company's founding asset. It means target generation is being done by people who have seen what a real Eastern Desert deposit looks like in the ground, not only on a map.

Scope of Activities

The activities the company is registered to carry out, from the commercial register. Gold exploration is the core programme today; the remainder is the value chain built to follow it.

01

Gold & Mineral Exploration

Prospecting for gold, metals, precious stones and their associated ores across the Eastern Desert and Red Sea coast, and their extraction.

Core
02

Mining Services

Operation of mines and quarries, and the provision of mining services to licence holders and partners.

Registered
03

Processing & Refining

A plant for the separation, extraction, analysis, purification, forming and smelting of gold, metals and precious stones.

Planned
04

Bullion & Gemstone Trading

Wholesale and retail trade in bullion, jewellery and precious stones.

Planned

Responsible Mining

Exploration in a desert environment carries real responsibilities: water use, site rehabilitation, heritage protection and the wellbeing of the communities we work alongside. We treat these as engineering constraints to design around, not obligations to discharge after the fact.

Environmental Baseline

Survey work completed before any ground disturbance, and monitored throughout each programme.

Heritage Protection

Ancient workings recorded and protected in consultation with Egyptian antiquities authorities.

Local Employment

Field crews, logistics and services sourced from surrounding governorates wherever possible.

Site Rehabilitation

Drill pads, tracks and camps restored on completion of every exploration season.
